the lies I've been telling,

Could you convince me it's fine?
Could you mistake this – my true self – for the mask?
Could you mask your own horror?
Are you prepared, now?

should I take it off?

Anyway, just wondering if you guys have noticed this, but I tend to sub poems that are fairly serious. I mean, most of my deviations are in Emotional, which means they're serious, but I'm talking more serious.
In any case, this was inspired by ~fierce6161, my new friend ^-^ Mainly this deviation: [link]
Now, because I'm obsessed with the 100 Theme Challenge, I want to put this into my weird list...-_- So this will be for the insane theme: X
Why? I have absolutely no idea XD It's because that's how I want it.

This is a wonderful poem. Its expressive, deep, and beautiful. It also shows a great strength of the character of the narrator.
The only problem I had was some of the phrases were rather cliche. (Not to say its bad writing, cliche is good writing that has just been used all too much.) It slightly detracts from the complexity and honesty of this piece.
Other than that, its a great poem! I look forward to reading more!
